After the 'open days' during the October holidays, the Olympic Sailing Center has remained open to the public. Tickets are RMB 10 per person at the gate.
For people interested in sailing in Qingdao the opening up of the excellent sailing facilities inside the Olympic complex is great news. Qingdao International Yacht Club (QIYC) is right now busy working out the guidelines for people who wish to store a small boat (dinghy) in the marina.
For questions regarding dinghy sailing in the Olympic Marina you can call Mr. George Li (黎青), m: 1395 427 8317. George speaks excellent English.
I'm having my own green WETA trimaran in the Olympic Marina, so if you are even remotely interested in sailing, do come over and check out the most versatile and fun boat around.
